I qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in February 1989 and after twenty four years commercial accounting experience predominantly in the Film and TV industry; my roles ranging from Production Accountant on a TV documentary to Finance Director of a group specialising in sports coverage I felt the time was right to become a CIMA Member in Practice and set up A Thousand Hills Ltd. I am also Treasurer/Trustee of a several local charities.

Some key achievements include the introduction of efficiencies leading to a significant reduction in overheads and an improved profit for the business; profit forecasts and projections on film projects that assisted the business in deciding where to invest resources; the finance member of a team that launched two successful new subscription tv channels; steering the company through challenges brought about by expansion as the turnover grew from £4m to £11m in two years.
